Susan Parker is the Museum Docent for the Wanapum Heritage Center. In addition to guiding tours, and being a part of the WNADU’s public outreach program, Susan documents the oral history of the Wanapum Indians and of the settlers from the White Bluffs area and the Priest Rapids Reservoir. Susan has lived in the Priest Rapids Reservoir since 1980. She is also an active volunteer, and continues to fill the position of Secretary for the Mattawa Club of Lions International since 2001. Presentation of the Americanism Award by the Veterans of Foreign Wars of the United States to Susan in 2001 recognizes her outstanding community service.
