REPOSITORY
The Wanapum Heritage Center repository cares for and manages the ethnographic, archaeological, historical, and archival collections. The collections represent the culture and history of the Wanapum and that of Grant County. Currently, the repository is undergoing an extensive baseline inventory of the entire collection. During the inventory process and management of the collection, all generated data is recorded in a comprehensive database. The database compiles the information regarding artifacts such as the artifact
provenance, collection activities, and the knowledge of the Wanapum elders.
